Freya- 15 to 20 year mare.

Freya is the definition of a gentle giant. At around 17.2 hh and almost 2000lbs, it’s a good thing she is very easy to handle and be around! Freya is low in the pecking order, and has no mean bone in her body. Live and let live is her motto. Freyas life before, was not kind to her. She has had many babies in her time, and her body creaks. She is on previcox to help her stay comfortable. Freya is halter broke, but that’s the extent of what she knows. She is sensitive to the cold, but blankets can be pretty scary and a lot of the time, she doesn’t let us get it on. She has no saddle work or driving work, and with her age and sore body, we think it’s best she be a companion. Freya would make an exceptionally beautiful pasture puff, and provide companionship to babies or other older horses! Freya does not understand lifting her feet and holding them, she will need someone who is prepared to either work with her, or provide necessary accommodations to get her feet done. If you think Freya would be a good match for you, fill out the application below!
