Adoption process.
Horses are not adopted out first come first serve.
Fill an adoption form and someone will be in touch, make sure to include phone number and email
If you are a good match, someone will be in touch for a phone interview
A meet and greet is done with the potential adopters. We do not adopt horses out of the adopter cannot come in person.
A virtual home check is done so that HHERS can see where the horse will be staying.
After the adoption contact is received , and adoption fee, you’re free to take your baby home!
Mira
Mira will be 2, Spring 2026 and has come a long way from the scared baby she once was. She is halter broke, dewormed, vaccinated and up to date with farrier. Mira is kind, gentle and curious, always having her nose in everyone’s business. Her mom is welsh pony size, and we’re unsure of her dad. Her baby sister, Sybil, is also available for adoption, and just as beautiful!

Sybil
Sybil is a sweet little pony filly. Born June 2025, she is coming 1! She is Miras sister (can you tell, the color and the 1 blue eye!). Sybil is vaccinated, dewormed, halter broke and foot broke. She is the sweetest, and most gentle soul.

Faith
Faith will be 1 years old in summer 2026! She is ready to find her new forever home. Faith is halter broke, dewormed, vaccinated and has had an amazing start to life! Faith is bold and demands attention. She is very spicy and opinionated, and is sure to be a future matriarch!

Matteo
Matteo is coming 1 years old. He is still a colt and will be gelded this Spring, and will then be adoptable. Matteo is up to date with vaccines, deworming, halter broke and foot broke. Matteo is the quiet, gentle guy of the babies. He is very much an old soul, and will definitely make a family so happy.
Roo & Abbigale
Roo is Abigale's baby. Abbigale arrived, with severe trauma. She is in her late 20s. Roo won’t be available for some time, as we feel his mom needs him most, and he may join our program, visiting hospitals and senior homes. Roo will also need to be gelded in the spring.
Esme
Esme is Matteos mom, who we suspect is pregnant again (rebred before we got the pair). Esme won’t be adoptable until she foals and weans, if she is infact in foal. Esme is only 3-4 years old. She is very standoffish, but tries to be brave when we’re handling her and giving her cookies. She came with a lot of food aggression, which has slowly improved with time!
Dakota- 10 Year Mare
Dakota is Faiths mom. Faith is literally the spitting image of her mom attitude wise. Bossy, opinionated, bold and beautiful. Dakota has a significant heart murmur, which will be rechecked this spring. Her weight fluctuates constantly, but she has now weaned Faith, and we hope that’ll improve her health. For now, Dakota is not available for adoption.
Adena- 25 yr Mare
Adena arrived with her best friend Paedyn, sadly Paedyn had an old injury we couldn’t fix. It took many months for Adena to start to heal from the loss of her friend, but she happily loves her herd mates now! Adena is part of our sanctuary program, meeting new people at hospitals and senior homes!
19 year gelding
Dobby arrived with Gryff, who is a sanctuary senior here. He is not available for adoption at this time. Dobby has had some meetings with children with special needs, and is starting to visit our local senior care facility!
Gryff- 24year gelding
Gryffindor spent 9+ months rehabbing his feet after he arrived severely foundered. Gryff is sound now, but with his age and metabolic disease, Gryff is now a sanctuary horse
Pearl- 25 to 30 year mare
Pearl is the sweetest old lady ever. She is pretty good health, considering her age and lack of care. Pearl is living out her life in our sanctuary program, and will remain here, loved by us.
